Recent Chairs
Roughly a decade ago, I began creating totemic animal assemblages out of tables. I also designed fabrics for found chairs, usually with colourful animal motifs. Since mid-2023 I’ve returned to using chairs as a canvas. I’ve continued to work with iconic animal imagery, but I’ve also experimented with a human figure, a cityscape and reflected images — ideas I aim to explore further.
